Doug and Bev have both been playing guitar, writing music and singing for many years. These bon-fire musicins have been fine tuning their craft for friends and family over the years and under the stars.

They now have decided to bring their show in from the yard and into the coffee shops and coffee house venues. Along with this, they are co-producers of

Celtic Kettle Coffee House in Milford, MI, which showcases local talent!

Doug Larsen

Doug, a self taught musician plays guitar, harmonica and recently taught himself the accordian! His songwriting style puts him in the genre of an alternative folk artist. Doug's influences come from the likes of Wilco, Bob Dylan , Bruce Springstein etc..  Many of Dougs lyrics have a political undertone and he likes to address world issues in his music. He fancies the minor chord but uses it very creatively! Many of his musical compositions contain an element of surprize. An extraordinary musician and songwriter!

Beverly Larsen
aka Sista Mac!

Bev's musical training consists of piano lessons taken as a young child. She is also self-taught on guitar and has recieved a bass guitar from Santa which she is excited to learn!

Bev's songwriting is influenced by Sarah McLachlan, Patty Griffin, and many other alternative folk artists. Bev's melodies and vocals are soothing and relaxing though her lyrical context may be just the opposite!

"I write what I know about and that is that life throws us so many curves! My songwriting isn't necessarilly all about me or my life, but I may hear or read a story, or visit a place that leaves an impression on me enough to want to share the message. Everybody has a story to tell! "
